I am delighted to have painted in and around the Provençal village of Dieulefit, which translates to the name of "God Made it". The French President in 1914 built a summer home between Nice and Lyons, here we stayed. I was in the class of a former student, Claire Verbiest, who is now one of the top watercolorists worldwide. It was her turn to teach me! Born into an artistic family, I have been privileged to study at the Art Institute of Chicago and graduated in fine arts from the University of Colorado and so I paint! I have a masters degree in education from Temple University and so I teach!
