The artist, Sal Buongiorno, has been involved with watercolors for the past ten years. His work has been shown in Southern California at several amateur and professional shows and is excited to be able to show his work in Cambria, the art center of the Central Coast.

The artist is a retired business owner who now spends the time previously devoted to business to furthering his interest in the arts. He is always looking for different techniques and methods that will improve his artwork. As a young person, the artist was involved with oil painting but drifted away from it as the pressures of a large family and a small business took precedence. When time became available both watercolors and oil were used and it was determined watercolors was the more vibrant medium.

The artist hopes you get as much pleasure viewing the paintings as he got out of painting them.
