Rosemary was born and raised in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi where she became interested in painting, she jokingly says, from birth. During her early married years she lived in New Orleans and later moved to the Los Angeles area in Palos Verdes Estates. Her art training began at LSU when she lived on the Gulf Coast and after moving to California, she resumed her art education at Harbor College. Upon retiring to Cambria she enrolled in art classes at Cuesta College. Throughout her life, she has attended workshops conducted by many nationally known artists.

Rosemary works in acrylic, oil, watercolor, and mixed media. Her work can be found in private and business collections and she has been honored at many juried shows.
